What is a Healing Facilitator?

The healing facilitator is one who has decided not to live for herself alone. She is committed to her own healing to be sure. She has made it a priority. But she is also ready to share the fruits of her journey with others. She is not greedy or selfish. She is not competitive with her brothers and sisters on the path. When fear comes up, she recognizes it and realigns with the energy. She embodies love and acceptance. She is collaborative, cooperative, open, and strives to see the best in others. She does not desire to fix or to save others. Instead she empowers others to heal from within and to step into the fullness of who they are. Healing is facilitated by transmitting and awakening the energy of unconditional love.

How can I best serve humanity?

In my case by being a healer, a teacher, a friend, I can serve by leading by example, by being genuine and authentic.
By being prepared to expose myself, to break down the persona,
to peel back the layers and living the real truth of who I am.
By walking through this world with a quiet mind and open heart.
To live in the now, to face my perceived fears, to feel compassion, to see the divine in all of life.
To see the divine in all of humanity - no matter what the colour, race, sexuality, creed, age, or walk of life they may come from.
To look into the eyes of another human being, and look into the depths of their soul, to see the divine with in.
To talk with passion and not just speak, to listen without judgment and not just hear, to look with the eyes of wonderment and not just see.
To live from a place of truth, respect, forgiveness, acceptance, freedom, harmony, spiritual connection and love.

About Karen Mosuk

Karen Mosuk My journey to where I am and who I am has been adventurous to say the least. As a child and teenager growing up in a dysfunctional household, I saw beyond the drama and just knew that I was here for a higher purpose.

My spiritual quest began as a teenager in the late 60's by searching for ways to heal myself and my life. I read every book on natural therapies, holistic living, self help, supernatural and esoteric material. I always felt connected to a higher power and my angels and I knew that I was guided, supported and protected at all times.

I was blessed to have a grandmother who was spiritually gifted and who taught me lessons of love, forgiveness and positive thinking. She was “holistic” in her own unique way always trying to heal everyone with herbs, potions, healthy food, laughter and love. She was definitely the inspiration of my life and I always wanted to be just like her when I grew up. My heart is filled with so much gratitude for having Nanny in my life.

I am an intuitive Healing Energy Therapist, Reiki Master and Integrated Energy Therapy Master-Instructor. Throughout the last 30+ years I have completed numerous courses, workshops and retreats in the “alternative” healing modalities and have received a diploma from the "The Institite of Energetic Healing" in Montreal, as well as other diplomas in energy healing, spiritual counselling, shamanic studies and more. I continuously pursue studies and new modalities in order to increase my knowledge and enhance my healing abilities. My true passion and joy is empowering others through private healing sessions and workshops. I teach Reiki, IET and meditation workshops to Kids, Teens and Adults. I also facilitate weekend transformational retreats and am available to give seminars on holistic subjects to empower and motivate others so they can live their life as the magnificent being that they were meant to be !!!!

I had the life changing pleasure of attending a Goddess Retreat this past spring and by life changing I mean LIFE CHANGING! Through a series of divinely inspired events put on by Karen and Nancy and surrounded by other women who were on a similar journey as mine, I came to know my life's purpose at the tender age of 42! The weekend was by far the most incredible spent by yours truly in decades. I loved making my Goddess mask and walking stick. I Have Learned...

I've learned - that being kind is more important than being right.

I will learn that true happiness is not always to achieve my goals, but to learn to appreciate with what I have achieved.
I will learn that I should control my attitude, and not let my attitude control me.
I will learn that to be rich is not to have the most, but to need the least.
I will learn that it is futile to compare myself to others, because there is always someone better or worse than I am.
I will learn that it takes years to build trust, and a few seconds to destroy it.
I will learn that there are people who love me very much, but simply do not know how to show their feelings.
I will learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness.
I will learn that I cannot make anyone love me, but learn to let myself be loved.
I will learn that what is most valuable is not what I have in my life, but who I have in my life.
I will learn that it only takes a few seconds to hurt people I love, and that it can take years to heal.
I will learn that money can buy everything but happiness.
I will learn that while at times I may be entitled to be upset, that does not give me the right to upset those around me.
I will learn that true friends are scarce, and when I have found one I have found a true treasure.
I will learn that it is not always important that I be forgiven by others, but that I forgive myself.
I will learn that I am the master of what I keep to myself and the slave of what I say.
I will learn that happiness is a decision, and decide to be happy today with what I am and what I have, not die from envy and jealousy of what I lack.
I will learn that those who are honest with themselves without considering the consequences succeed in life.
I will learn that I will reap what I plant; if I plant gossip I will harvest suspicion, if I plant love I will harvest happiness.
